I have worked for Chancellors since 2004, starting as a Negotiator and swiftly gained promotion to Botley Sales Manager in 2006.
I grew the business to become the market-leading office in the area and ran the branch for over a decade. Many of my staff have become top award winners and had multiple promotions within the business.
In my time at Chancellors, I have gained considerable experience in residential sales, lettings and new homes and Chancellors allowed me to become both NAEA and ARLA qualified.
I am currently the Regional Director for North and West Oxfordshire, overseeing 8 offices. I work very closely with my team and have a hands-on approach to supporting my staff and encouraging career development and promotions within Chancellors.
Chancellors offer fantastic rewards and bonuses and I have won many prizes, having attended annual trips to Madrid, Meribel, Mykonos, Las Vegas and the Bahamas. It has been great to be rewarded so well!

I have been working within Chancellors for the last two years, within this time, I have quickly turned the office to be one of the market leaders within Swindon with the support of my amazing team.
I have lived in Swindon with my two children for the last 5 years. The fast-moving pace of the lettings market motivates me along with knowing I can help our landlords find the best tenants along with finding tenants with the next chapter of their lives.
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in May 2009 and have worked for Chancellors ever since. I started my career within Chancellors at the East Oxford branch and soon earned myself a promotion to Senior Lettings Negotiator and moved office to the Headington Branch. During my time in the Headington office, I progressed to Assistant Manager and got to know the Oxford market very well. After four years, I got yet another promotion to East Oxford Lettings Manager. After much success and growing the business to number 1 in the area, I am now Area Associate Director of the Oxon Lettings Division managing 14 branches.
During my success, I have been lucky enough to go on seven skiing trips and holidays to places such as Dubai & South Africa, as well as several visits to London. I have gained multiple prizes for Top Negotiator, Highest Performing Manager, and Highest Performing Area Manager. I also hold an ARLA qualification along with a BA (Hons) in Business.
I currently reside in Bicester, have three children, and am 37 years old. My interests are football and swimming. The one thing that inspires me the most in my role is helping others achieve their goals and seeing them succeed, as well as inspiring clients to invest in the property market.

I have been with chancellors since July 2022, and through the support of Chancellors and their market leading practices, I have progressed my way up to senior negotiator, a role I feel is truly an achievement and a show of character.
My favourite part of the job is that we actively make peoples lives better, having successfully moved over 100 families in to their new home I have learned how the market in Swindon operates and of course what is important to the people of Swindon, which I would argue is the most important part, as this is a people industry.
I look forward to seeing what my future here at Chancellors will bring!

What is Swindon Like?
Swindon is a town steeped in history and tradition while sitting on the forefront of a number of modern industries. Having helped to revolutionise rail travel in the 1800s, Swindon is now home to Intel’s European head office, and the UK headquarters for companies such as Nationwide Building Society, Zurich Financial Services, Npower, National Trust, and even the UK Space Agency.
But while there are plenty of incredible employment opportunities with big businesses, don’t think that Swindon is an urban jungle. The Wiltshire town has carefully preserved its history as well as its green spaces, making it perfect for someone who enjoys urban living without the intensity of a city like London.
Speaking of the nation’s capital, you’re not far from it: just 55 minutes by rail. The town’s train station also provides frequent services to the likes of Reading, Bath and Oxford.
Fuelled by its prominent role in the rail industry, Swindon has grown into a large and prosperous town. Whether you’re looking for culture, retail therapy, or somewhere to unwind, Swindon has plenty to offer.
Transport Links
Residents of Swindon enjoy a superb rail service that delivers them to Bristol in just 20 minutes, and to London Paddington in only 55 minutes. The same rail line also connects to the likes of Bath and Reading.
Drivers will love the proximity of the M4 motorway, connecting you to major cities like Bristol, Reading, Oxford, and Bath.
Stagecoach run most of the bus services in the area, providing services in and around the town and surrounding areas, even as far as Bristol and Reading.
For those who prefer to get around on two wheels, the town has many cycle routes.
For international travel, the nearest airports are Bristol (42 miles away), London Heathrow (57.7 miles away) and Birmingham (62.2 miles away).
Schools in the Area
Swindon offers parents a superb choice of both primary and secondary schools, and you’re sure to find one that can best fulfil your child’s needs.
Croft Primary School is a popular choice amongst Swindon parents with younger children and has been rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. Wanborough Primary School and Lethbridge Primary School have both received a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted, and places are in high demand.
There are plenty of choices for secondary education, too. Held in high esteem by parents of older children, The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College also enjoys a ‘good’ Ofsted rating. New College Swindon provides A-level studies, HNC and HND qualifications, and degree-level studies in partnerships with universities.
Attractions in Swindon
Given Swindon’s historical involvement in the railways, it’s no surprise that you can find a rail museum within the beautiful listed buildings of the Great Western Railway Works.
The STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway explores the rich history of the railway and reveals the extraordinary stories of the ordinary men and women who helped to build and run it. You can get up close to classic locomotives, wander through the museum’s storytelling displays, and even test your skills in signal box and train driver simulators.
The same beautiful building also offers another fantastic attraction: the Swindon Designer Outlet. One of the largest covered designer outlets in Europe, you’ll find a mix of high street and designer brands inside, including Superdry, Boss, Calvin Klein, and more, with goods reduced by up to 60%.
If you’d rather spend the day outdoors, take a walk around Coate Water Park, a country park to Swindon’s south-east. Home to wildlife such as swans, terns, and ducks, you can enjoy a pleasant walk through this incredible green space. Or, for those with young children, you could take a visit to the splash park for fun amongst the sprinklers.
Lydiard Park is another fantastic outdoor destination, a beautiful estate of the western edge of Swindon that features the Palladian House, Church and Walled Garden within 260 acres of parkland. History of Swindon
Mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, Swindon began as a Saxon Village. For centuries after, Swindon was just a small and quiet market town however it was the introduction of the railway in 1840 which transformed the area from a small and sleepy market town into the largest town in Wiltshire.
The town’s St Mark’s Church was consecrated in 1845, the first shops opened in 1846 and from the mid 1840s houses were built on Bridge Street and Fleet Street. It was also within the 1840s that an iron rolling mill was built in the town. As more and more ironworkers moved into the area for work, new houses were built what is now known as Cambria Place and Cambria Bridge. Over the next 40 years, many more roads, including Regent Street, Queen Street, Henry Street, Reading Street and Oxford Street, were built upon and by 1881 the population of Swindon exceeded 15,000. The town was however still in two settlements – the old town and the new town – divided by fields.
By 1900 the two towns, Old and New Swindon had fused together into one. The growth of the new town continued at an impressive rate in the years after, with an isolation hospital, an electricity generating station and a system of tramways built soon after.
After WWII, Swindon was designated an overspill town. As a result, the town expanded rapidly as around 14,000 people moved to the town from London during the 1950s. Swindon was still very much a one-industry town at this time; however, the end of an era came in 1986 when Swindon’s railway works closed.
Today the town’s railway heritage lives on in the form of museums, while its industry is far more diverse than it was those many years ago. In the 21st century, the main employers within the town include insurance, banking and food distribution.
More than 30 larger-than-life balloon dog sculptures – the ‘Swindogs’ – have been unleashed across Swindon for the Summer!
