Hendon is a suburb located in the Borough of Barnet, just 7 miles away from Charing Cross. Neighbouring areas include Edgware, Church End, Colindale, Golders Green and Temple Fortune. Steeped in history, the area of Hendon was once a parish of Middlesex before becoming part of London.

The area is served by Hendon Central tube station on the Northern Line, as well as Hendon Railway Station on the Thameslink Line. There are several bus routes across Hendon, linking the area to London’s West End and Wembley Station.

There are a number of secondary schools in the Hendon area, including Hasmonean School and Hendon School. There is also private sixth form, Brampton College, and Middlesex University is also located in Hendon.

Despite its proximity to London, Hendon is surrounded by green spaces such as Sunny Hill Park and Hendon Park, which is situated a short walk away from the high street.
