Property Spotlight: November Week One

|

There is more than one new property instructed for sale or to let every 15 minutes across the Chancellors Group of Estate Agents*. We share some of the highlights from over the past week that you might have missed. Each property is nominated for either its exceptional value, prime location or its outstanding features. All of them are either on the market or recently available, and they speak to the stunning range of homes we see on a daily basis. Here is the week’s roundup of must-see properties.

Wisley Common, Surrey

Our first property, which is located on Wisley Common, is such a huge offering that it is difficult to know where to begin. With 100-acres of land that is host to an orchard, a river, woodland, five outbuildings and variety of fields, there is lots to see and explore. On this land, you will also find a total of three sizeable houses. The main house is both grand and imposing, and its enormous open plan layout on the ground floor looks incredibly modern and spacious. Even the staircase is a talking point, its overall design and the way it forks to the landing makes it stand out as a feature of the house. Equally remarkable is the private gate and road that leads into the property, which makes a fantastic first impression.

Bridge House,Lower Chapel, Brecon, Powys

There can be no doubt that Bridge House is an eye-catching property. Found on one side of a cobblestone bridge, the property’s white stone walls and red climbers gives it an immediate sense of charm. Inside, you will find a lovingly refurbished interior with tons of features that keep true to its character. One such feature would be the recessed fireplace in the living area. We also love the garden room with its large picture windows that show off this property’s idyllic setting. Outside, there’s a large garden that has been beautifully landscaped and cared for. Its shape and size would make it functional space for a variety of uses.

Gorse Lane, Chobham

With our final property, you will immediately notice its huge driveway and its prominent rotund entrance. Walking through archways to reach your front door is a subtle detail that adds to this property’s refined sense of style. The double garage is far from just extra storage space. From the side of the garage, you can access stairs that lead to an upstairs area that is perfect for use as an office or entertainments room. Part of this property’s huge amount of living space is an open plan kitchen with high-quality granite worktops that are arranged around an island. Going beyond the standard offering of rooms, you will also find an orangery, al fresco dining areas, and a large detached timber studio. 1 2
