HemelWindowsdGood news if you’re looking to sell or let property in Hemel Hempstead – we’re launching a new branch in the Hertfordshire town on 2nd May, with an amazing opening offer!

To celebrate our new opening, we’re charging no commission to the first 100 clients who instruct us to sell, and no property management fees for six months to the first 100 clients who instruct us to let their property.

Our new location will offer the full range of services we cover at our existing branches, from residential and commercial sales and lettings to property management, land and development, and new homes.

The branch will be staffed by experienced Chancellors employees, but we are recruiting for more positions with vacancies currently open, giving a welcome boost to employment in the area. Our staff are all local experts and well-trained in dealing with property sales and lettings. If you or anyone you know is interested in joining us, take a look at our careers page to browse our currently available roles.

Hemel Hempstead was an ideal choice for our latest opening as the property market is currently booming there. Buyers and investors love the fact that it involves a short journey into London, perfect for commuters to the City who’d prefer not to invest in property centrally. Furthermore, with some being priced out of London, a half-hour train journey from home to Euston is a dream. The recent £30 million redevelopment of Hemel Hempstead has contributed hugely to the area’s rising popularity.

Towards the end of 2016 it was revealed that the town’s regeneration had resulted in a 64% drop in empty shops in under two years, taking it well under the national average. The main pedestrianised shopping area of Marlowes has been totally transformed and now boasts a thriving food court, thrilling children’s play areas and entertainment on the main square with the musical fountain, Rainbow Stage and large LED screen. The Marlowes Shopping Centre was also acquired for further redevelopment last year and promises even more exciting changes to come from new owners Capital and Regional. Plus, the open-air Riverside Shopping Centre has undergone a makeover, with the picturesque setting of the River Gade enhancing the addition of lots of new eateries and outdoor dining space.

The creation of the modern bus interchange system has also helped boost local tourism, along with the Old Town area which features attractive Victorian, Georgian and Tudor architecture and lots of independent stores, as well as period pubs and an array of cosmopolitan eateries. The Jellicoe Water Gardens received a huge cash injection from the Heritage and Big Lottery Funds in the form of a £2.4 million grant two years ago, with a further £1 million financing from Dacorum Council. The site now makes for a beautiful nature spot featuring the popular Lovers’ Walk, picturesque lake, flower gardens and play area, and once again looks deserving of its status as one of Hemel Hempstead’s most treasured attractions.

Area Sales Manager Nic Simmonds said of the launch: “The new branch opening is our next exciting step in expanding the Chancellors offering. Since our first branch in Richmond in 1807, we’ve opened in over 30 locations including Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey. Hemel Hempstead will serve as a flagship location as it enhances the network we can offer with other existing branches in the local area already thriving. “

Our new Hemel Hempstead branch will be located at 178 Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1BH. We look forward to seeing you there on 2nd May! Click here to find out more.
