Bracknell town centre’s long-awaited £240 million regeneration project, The Lexicon, is set to open in September 2017.

New shops and restaurants will open to the public on 7 September 2017 along with the creation of around 3,500 new jobs. Read more about the plans, and which shops and restaurants will be part of the development, in our blog Local Focus: Bracknell Regeneration.

The latest retailers to sign up to The Lexicon are clothing store, Fat Face, and mobile communication company, Carphone Warehouse. Fat Face will be based on The Avenue, one of the new streets for fashion in the development, and Carphone Warehouse will be relocating from its current store on Princess Square into a larger store on Braccan Walk, opposite the new Primark store. Last month it was revealed Smiggle, Beaverbrooks and Footlocker have also signed up and now 70% of the new development is let.

First estimated for spring 2017, the opening date has been rescheduled to allow for the upgrading of materials for the buildings, the completion of new public spaces, and the perfection of finer details for visitors.
