Property Spotlight: October Week Two

There is more than one new property instructed for sale or to let every 15 minutes across the Chancellors Group of Estate Agents*. We share some of the highlights from over the past week that you might have missed. Each property is nominated for either its exceptional value, prime location or its outstanding features. All of them are either on the market or recently available, and they speak to the stunning range of homes we see on a daily basis. Here is the week’s roundup of must-see properties.

Kingwood, Henley-on-Thames

Claim a part of the Wyfold Court Mansion with your very own duplex apartment. Designed by Edward Hermon and built in 1876 for a wealthy cotton magnate, this French Gothic influenced mansion has recently been converted into eleven dream homes. The apartment itself is filled with luxurious features. From the deep stone mullion windows in the drawing room, you’ll be greeted with views of the surrounding parkland that spans over 180-acres. Notable features within these grounds include formal gardens, stone paths, and an ornamental pond. And when you’re not enjoying everything else on offer, you could always make time for a spot of tennis in the two available tennis courts. More info available here.

Wellington, Hereford

We can’t help but feature stunning barn-conversions like this one in our property spotlights. The blend of recently renovated interiors with preserved features, such as high ceilings and exposed oak beams, give them an appealing sense of character. The open plan first floor feels incredibly modern and spacious, and the large windows on this floor let in a pleasing amount of natural light. To top it all off, there’s an impressive 22 ft. entrance hallway with access to the rear garden and a balcony walkway around the side of the property. More info available here.

Apsley House, St John’s Wood

Our next property is a jaw-dropping 7th-floor penthouse apartment in London. Much thought has been given to the layout of this apartment. Firstly, there’s the practical L shaped reception room, and then there’s the fact that both of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. This makes it ideal for hosting guests – guests who you are sure to impress when you show them your private roof terrace. Being on the top floor means you’ll have splendid views of the London skyline, which makes it a great place to kick back and take in all that this apartment has to offer. More info available here.
