Special Feature: Unique or Uniform?

This time we asked:

What would you prefer, a home that is more uniform or a home that is more unique?

For the first time since we started running our weekly polls, we’ve had a draw! Maybe we can’t decide what’s best, or it might be the fact that our decision could go either way for the right home. In any case, we’ve decided to choose a selection of properties from both categories.

Chilton Field Way, Chilton

Can a property look any more uniform than this 4-bedroom home with a double fronted exterior? We love the way the property’s flawless symmetry extends to the front garden with a neat hedgerow and matching flower beds. It also worth pointing out the attention to detail that has gone into the brickwork which helps give it that extra flare. On the inside, the property has spacious and large rooms giving you the perfect canvass to make them exactly the way you want. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into this property and it would not look out of place alongside model homes. More info available here.

Cane End, Oxfordshire

Every detail in this 5-bedroom home has been carefully chosen with a luxurious and modern theme in mind. From the custom-made timber kitchen to the secret library door that leads to the study, this property is filled with an impressive array of high-end features. We particularly like the living room with its inglenook fireplace, where clever use of furniture and colour supports the room’s warm and relaxing tone. Like the Living Room, each aspect of the property has been designed with a consistent style throughout and the overall effect is of a showroom standard. More info available here.

Hay on Wye, Herefordshire

This character cottage comes with a full-width veranda to enjoy the property’s beautiful surrounding views. The extensive country garden that’s filled with wildflower meadows is the perfect setting for such a uniquely charming cottage. Inside, you will find exposed beams and feature wall with a log burning stove in the living room. Other notable features include the huge conservatory that overlooks the garden and shepherd’s hut that has a great holiday-let potential. With everything that this cottage has to offer, you can be sure that you won’t find many properties quite like this one. More info available here.

Next Week

Every week, we will be running a poll where you can vote for your favourite type of property. We will find the property that meets the winning criteria and feature it in our future Property Spotlights. Over the next week, our question is this:

What would you prefer, an outdoor swimming pool or an indoor swimming pool?

Head on over to Facebook Page to cast your vote in this week’s poll.
