In a heartwarming show of community spirit and courage, our Finchley branch proudly sponsored the Firewalk Challenge hosted by North London Hospice—an unforgettable evening where brave participants walked barefoot across burning embers to raise vital funds for specialist palliative care.
The event marked the first-ever Firewalk organised by the hospice, and it was nothing short of spectacular. With cheers, laughter, and a few nervous steps, the community came together to support a cause that touches countless lives across North London.
“A huge thank you to the brave soles who took part in The Firewalk – a truly fiery feat (or should I say feet!). This was the first time we’ve organised a firewalk for North London Hospice and it was incredible to see our community come together and take on such a bold challenge so that we can continue offering free, specialist palliative care to adults in our communities. Thanks to their amazing efforts, we’ve raised over £19,500 including Gift Aid – and we’re still counting!”
The Finchley team were thrilled to be part of such a bold and meaningful initiative, helping to shine a light on the incredible work North London Hospice does every day.
