The Wokingham winter carnival starts at 11 a.m and finishes at 5.30 p.m on Sunday 27th of November. This popular and free community event will be held in the town center and there will be fun fair rides, a magic show, the enduring Punch & Judy, jugglers, clowns and over 100 various stalls. Most importantly, Santa’s Grotto is going to be in the library from 11 a.m – 3 p.m before leaving to fulfill his other contractual obligations.
While the winter carnival is taking place we will be working with Wokingham Foodbank at our branch on 8 Broad St located in the town center to collect as many food items as possible. Like a dutiful child we have a wish list of items we hope you can donate:

- Christmas Pudding
- Christmas Cake
- Minced Pies
- Box of Biscuits
- Children’s Selection Box
- Chocolate
- Snacks
- Christmas Cards
- Christmas Crackers
