At Chancellors, we love getting involved in the communities in which we work. Our Richmond Estate Agents are delighted to support the London Scottish Development Festival on Sunday the 13th of October.

This is a fun tournament for those in all age groups from U7 to U11, who may have less opportunity during the season to compete in other festivals, and it will be played and refereed in that spirit. Although competitive, the emphasis is on fun and player development.

“This weekend, we are hosting a mini rugby festival involving over 2,100 kids spread across 38 pitches involving 150 teams with 339 games taking place. We are looking forward to the kids enjoying rugby as they progress through the age group. Who knows!? We may be watching the future Stuart Hogg or Jonny Gray. We would like to thank Chancellors for their support”. Iain Whyte, Minis Chair

The event will be using pitches on both Old Deer Park and Richmond Athletic Ground. Pitch allocation is as follows and shown on the map below.

There is a cafe in the clubhouse where coffee, food and teas can be bought. The bars will, of course, be open after the tournament. Please stay and join us for some food or a drink afterwards; we are really aiming for a sociable and fun morning both off and on the pitch. You will find this is extremely concentrated rugby – a great opportunity for parents, grandparents etc to see the kids play full-on rugby without standing around for hours between games.

The event will be held on Sunday 13th October 2019, 9.30am – 12pm at Richmond Athletic Ground, Richmond.
