On Sunday 25th September 2022, the Walk for Wards event took place at Mapledurham Estate in Reading. The event turned out to be bigger and better than ever before with over 200 walkers and 30+ dogs supporting their owners, over double the turnout from 2021!
The event has raised a massive £8,000 for the Royal Berks Charity with donations still coming in! The proceeds will go towards their local NHS.
Kate Martin, Corporate Fundraising Manager commented “I wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the Chancellors team for sponsoring our flagship event Walk for Wards. What an amazing day, the atmosphere was incredible, and we had such great feedback with lots of plans to improve it for next year!”
Luck was also on their side with the weather which turned out to be a glorious sunny day. A massive well done to everybody that took part and raised money.
