The sun was shining, the music was playing, and the smiles were everywhere at the GKCS Family Fun Day in High Wycombe over the weekend of 21st June 2025. After three months of dedicated planning and countless late nights, the event was a resounding success—welcoming over 650 guests through the school gates for a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit.
Organised by the PTA team, the event—affectionately dubbed GK FunFest—offered a vibrant mix of live music, delicious food vendors, and a wide variety of stalls, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere for families and friends alike.
In the words of Mrs Best, Head Teacher:
“A Huge Thank You to Everyone Involved in today’s GK FunFest! The new PTA team did a fantastic job—everything was planned with such precision and attention to detail. The variety of stalls, the vibrant live music, and the delicious food vendors all came together to create a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. It was a true community celebration. To everyone who helped behind the scenes, volunteered, or simply came along to enjoy the day – thank you. Your support made it all possible!”
