Why the owner loves the property:Combe is a really special village to live in, and this house worked perfectly for us as a family home. It sits in a small, quiet close right in the centre of the village, but tucked well away from the larger roads. Because of this, it feels calm and safe, and we always felt comfortable letting the children play outside, ride their bikes and spend time with friends without worrying about traffic or noise.

One of the things that first drew us to the house was the amount of downstairs space. It is far more generous than you find in many newer properties and made everyday family life easy. Having separate areas meant the children had space to play and store their toys, while we also having plenty of room to relax together and eat as a family. The kitchen and dining space works really well, and the additional downstairs office spare room was super useful.

The garden is a great space and feels private, without being overlooked. With trees behind the house rather than other properties, it is peaceful and quiet, and the sound of birds in the mornings is something we miss.

The garage was another real bonus. It provides excellent storage and keeps the boiler and washing machine out of the main house, so you get the convenience without the noise. There is also plenty of parking at the front of the property.

The only reason we are no longer living here is due to relocation, but we hope someone else will enjoy this great home.
