To enhance the security of your account, we now require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when logging into the My Chancellors portal. Follow the steps below to set up MFA and protect your information.

Step 1: Visit the Portal
Go to https://portal.chancellors.co.uk
Or click the My Chancellors link at the top of the Chancellors website.

Step 2: Log In
Sign in using your email address and password, then click Login.

Step 3: Option 1 – Set Up MFA via Authenticator App

On your first login, you’ll be prompted to set up MFA.

If you already have an authenticator app:
  • Open your app and scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
    OR
  • Manually enter the text code shown next to the QR code.
If you don’t have an authenticator app:
  • Click the link for your device (iOS or Android) to download a suitable app.
  • Once installed, return to the portal and scan the QR code or enter the text code.

Step 4: Confirm Setup
Tick the checkbox confirming you’ve added the account to your authenticator app.
Click “Proceed to authenticator code verification.”

Step 5: Enter Your Code
Open your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code shown for My Chancellors.
You’ll now be logged in securely.

Step 3: Option 2 – Set up MFA via SMS

We understand that not everyone finds the Authenticator app convenient. That’s why we’ve introduced an alternative MFA method using SMS.

How it works:
  • After entering your email address and password, you’ll see a screen like the one below.
  • Simply tick the checkbox shown on the screen to choose SMS as your verification method.
  • You’ll then receive a code via text message, which you can enter to complete your login securely.

This option is designed to make your login experience smoother while keeping your account secure.

Future Logins
Each time you log in, you’ll be asked to enter a new code from your authenticator app or SMS.
