This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office in Bracknell as a Compliance Administrator in our Compliance and Support Services Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility, as part of a team, for the ongoing monitoring of HMO, EICR, PAT and Gas Safety compliance across the company
  • Undertake daily compliance administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure that daily/weekly tasks are completed and no outstanding compliance items remain uncompleted without being escalated.
  • Meet and exceed both office and individual service & accuracy standards
  • Deal with standard enquiries for all areas efficiently and in a timely manner. Refer complex, difficult or legal queries to manager or relevant expert.

PROCESS & PROCEDURES:

  • Support the business in ensuring that the service is run in line with industry legislation and regulations
  • Ensure that all queries are dealt with promptly and effectively and action is always taken in line with agreed service standards.
  • Ensuring that standards are being met by completing scheduled checks as defined by policy, reporting on the outcome of checks and where appropriate escalating any item of non compliance identified.
  • Preparing compliance reports and distribute the documentation to the relevant manager or expert
  • Maintain and use office systems effectively
  • Support the collation of responses to complaints where they relate to compliance matters
  • Provide additional compliance orientated administration support to other teams within the Property Management division as required
  • Comply with lettings administrative procedures and all relevant legalisation, Codes of Conduct and Practice and Due Diligence procedures
  • Update and remedy documentation where gaps are identified (e.g. arranging for new certificates to be completed by suitable contractors and ensuring company records are updated accordingly once documentation is in place) and ensure these are provided to relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Develop and apply an understanding of legal requirements
