The redevelopment includes a new retail and leisure complex in the heart of the town, creating around 600 new jobs in the local community.
The multi-million pound development is due to open in mid-July and will boast a seven screen Vue cinema, a large Sainsbury’s supermarket with a multi-storey car park, a range of shops and restaurants and a new civic building which will include a district and town council customer service centre plus a library.
