Orchard Centre

Work to expand Didcot’s retail park, The Orchard Centre, will begin on 1 August.

24 new shops, a Marks and Spencer’s food hall, a gym, six restaurants, and 105 extra car parking spaces are all part of the £50 million development. The long-awaited works are expected to take 53 weeks finishing in June 2017 when the new restaurant quarter is complete.

Derbyshire-based construction company, Bowmer and Kirkland, is heading up the project. The company was behind the £80 million development of Aberdeen International Business Park in Scotland and the £20 million development of The Moor indoor market and eight shops in Sheffield.
