A large, leafy garden or state of the art kitchen… if you’re wondering how to add value to your property, which home improvements really make a difference? According to a recent estate agency survey, home improvements are popular amongst prospective sellers and if you pick the right areas of your home to improve, it can even add value to your property.

Conducted by estate agency organisation, Relocation Agent Network amongst its members, the survey found that nearly three quarters of members* would recommend sellers make home improvements before placing their property on the market.

Adding Value to Your Property
The survey reports that the kitchen is the most likely room to be improved by sellers, which is just as well, because 80% of responding agents indicated that the heart of the home is the most important room to do up. The bedroom was voted the least important, with over half of survey respondents stating so+.
