It’s only a short stroll to the river where we have enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, cycling and long walks. Just over the footbridge at Teddington Lock, there are numerous independent shops, cafes and pubs where we’ve spent many a Sunday afternoon. One of our favourite family day out is cycling through Richmond Park via Ham Common. There are several outstanding Secondary Schools in the local area, making Ham a very desirable location for families. Bus stops just around the corner from the house give good transport links to either Richmond or Kingston Station for tube and trains into Central London. These town centres also provide all the shops and restaurants you could want. There’s ample parking on the street in front of the house and a garage at the end of the terrace, handy for storing boats and bikes.
