Hertfordshire (often abbreviated to Herts) is a vibrant mix of urban towns and stunning countryside villages. Since the 1920s, the area has been famous for housing some of Britain’s biggest film studios, MGM-British Studios and Leavesden Film Studios (owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment). Many notable films have been made in Hertfordshire, including the original Star Wars trilogy, the James Bond film GoldenEye and, more recently, the Harry Potter series.

Attractions in Hertfordshire are plentiful and include the Watford Museum, the Walter Rothschild Zoological Museum and the Mill Green Museum, a thousand-year-old working watermill.
