It has been almost a year since we became a Carbon Neutral organisation and we are continuing our pledge and making a conscious effort in reducing our environmental impact across all 58 branches and our Head Office.

Read on to find out how we have been reducing our carbon footprint.

Marketing Material

Our marketing material is always evolving and we’ve made changes to some of our materials meaning it contains no lamination and is recyclable. We’re always seeking ways in which we can make more of our material more environmentally friendly.

With approximately seven million tonnes of paper sent to landfill each year, we are reducing the amount of documents sent to the printer with a ‘think before you pint’ attitude. Any documents that are printed and no longer needed are recycled.

Eco Boards

With 58 branches covering BerkshireBuckinghamshireOxfordshireHampshireSurreyLondonHerefordshireWiltshireWorcestershire and Mid Wales, we have hundreds of boards going up each week for properties to rent and buy and the promotion of sponsorships.

All boards that we use are made from recycled plastic. Once the boards are no longer needed, they are sent back to the supplier where they are recycled.

Our board suppliers, Agency Express and Kremer are both certified Carbon Neutral Businesses. As 2 of our largest suppliers, it’s great to do business with companies who share the same values as us.

Stationary

We are looking to replace our current stationary supplies with more sustainable, eco-friendly products which will be used across all branches and Head Office.

Light bulbs

One of the bigger projects we have been working on is changing the light bulbs across all branches and our Head office.

We are pleased to say that we are now 75% of the way through changing the office lights to LED. We are delighted to announce that our Bracknell Head Office has also been completed.

LED lights are highly energy efficient providing less heat, more light and are designed to last longer than traditional light bulbs.

We are looking forward to future projects in our journey to becoming a greener company.
