Sunninghill is a village located between Ascot and Sunningdale, with a population of just under 4,000. Popular for its cafes, boutique shops, and community feel, Sunninghill also benefits from strong transport links. Both Ascot and Sunningdale have train stations on the London Waterloo – Reading line, making Sunninghill an area popular with commuters.
The village is located approximately 26 miles from London, and 12 miles from Heathrow, with easy access to both the M3 and A30. Sunninghill is also popular for its schools and is within the catchment area for Charters Secondary School, which many people move to the area for. Within Sunninghill is St Michael’s Primary School, which is a feeder school for Charters, and The Marist School, a private girl’s school.
Furthermore, there is also the ACS International School, Egham. Chancellors often sponsor school events, and recently sponsored the Charters School Summer Fayre, a great event at the end of the school year which provided an opportunity for the local community to come together to support a good cause. Chancellors had a strong role within promoting the event, partaking in delivering 10,000 leaflets to the local area.
We also put up 100 specially designed boards around the area to raise awareness of the event and help ensure it was well attended. The Summer Fayre was a great success, raising over £9,000 to support the school’s development.
