Hazlemere is a north eastern suburb of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and sits along the A404 in the direction of Amersham. Crossroads mark the centre of Hazlemere and from here the suburb has grown over several decades. Hazlemere is also close to Penn, Tylers Green and Holmer Green, all of which are becoming highly sought after areas. Large parts of Hazlemere were built during the 1960s and 1970s including Hazlemere Park (Cedar Avenue development).
At the centre of this area is The Park Parade Shopping Centre, which has undergone significant development over the last few years and the demand for people wishing to live here has steadily increased. A popular retirement development close to these local amenities is also located here. A short distance from the crossroads along the Penn Road you will find Hazlemere Golf Club which boasts an 18-hole golf course stretching across beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. World famous golfer Luke Donald started his love of golf here.
A highlight of the year is the Hazlemere Fete. This annual event, which has been held for over 150 years, usually takes place on the August bank holiday Monday and attracts numerous exhibitors from a wide area. Surrounded by attractive countryside and woodland, the Hazlemere area is ideal for outdoor pursuits particularly walking and cycling.
