In the countryside of the Chiltern Hills in the heart of Buckinghamshire, Hyde Heath is a village which offers many services and activities. Its social life is centred on Hyde Heath Village Hall which hosts many local community groups and social events. A highlight of the year is the village fete which features traditional games and stalls, dog show and classic car display.
Surrounded by attractive woodland, farmland and open countryside, Hyde Heath has one of the smallest churches in Buckinghamshire plus a Baptist Chapel - neither of them far from the village pub, The Plough. The village also has a Common which houses the local cricket club, a successful and thriving part of the community. The village shop sells excellent local produce and hosts many produce fayres throughout the year. Food writer and television presenter, Mary Berry, has even made a visit. The area is known for its high quality of educational facilities.
