Goldsworth Park Lake and Recreation Ground lie in the north of the area providing extensive sports facilities which are well used. Goldsworth Park also includes a number of areas of Urban Open Space which contribute to the appealing character and appearance of the area. The most modern local centre in the Borough, Goldsworth Park Centre, has a Waitrose supermarket, newsagents and other facilities. A wide range of community facilities includes schools, a youth and community centre, health centre and a church, making the development extremely popular with families.
