Isleworth is a peaceful, historic town located in the London Borough of Hounslow. The area has a rich and diverse Saxon history. Excavations in the area have uncovered evidence of an early Roman-British settlement dating back to the year 695. During the Victorian and Georgian eras, beautiful mansions were constructed to house the aristocracy, and examples of fine Georgian architecture can be seen dotted around the town to this day.
