Transport Links 

The area is served by many public transport links. Most of Kensington is served by three tube stations in Travelcard Zone 1 (Gloucester Road, High Street Kensington and South Kensington), all of which operate on the Circle Line. These stations are also served by the District line, linking Kensington to the City Centre and Westminster. The Piccadilly line connects Kensington to the West End in approximately 10 minutes, and to Ealing, Heathrow Airport, Hounslow and Chiswick (in the opposite direction) in around 20-40 minutes.   Kensington Olympia serves as the overground station for London Overground and National Rail services.   A number of bus services run through Kensington too, providing an alternative mode of transport to different areas of the capital.  London City Airport is the nearest airport, which is just over 10 miles away. Other airports near to Kensington include London Heathrow and London Gatwick.
